Panorama Camp | Langkawi Trip

It's been quite a while since I stepped my foot to Langkawi Island. After 2008, I haven't been to Langkawi much like I used to before. No more courses, means no more Langkawi for me.

I registered for a BTN course and I was suppose to register for the course there, so I decided not to leave my camera (although I left my bigma & tammy) with me regardless any chances of not being able to shoot anything during the course.

I was right; I don't have any free time to shoot; yet the course was cool. It was a great course. The trainers was cool; and we had a gr8 time.

The last day, I asked for permission to use my camera; and I shot whatever close in front of me. Although I was unable to shoot the hornbills and drongos, I'm satisfied.. At least I can shoot pics of me & friends..

Will visit Langkawi again; and this time I'm going birding!

This particular weevil is not only my favourite, but I guess I could say many macro enthusiasts love this one special bug. It can be found on a particular tree when it usually rolled up a leaf and lay an egg in it to hatch..

I took these shots before shooting macro at Tupah. How to shoot HDR, people might ask, the key thing is shooting a frame using three (or more) exposures. In this case.. I used five exposures for this, ran it through Photomatix and tweak it using Ps.

Try googling the tutorial on this, and give it a try. It's cool..!

I was about to shoot a rather small sized jumper when PakSu Najdi told me there's a green beauty on a tree, across the river stream. And when I saw it, wow.. Such a beauty not to be missed. I wanted to share the beauty with everyone, so I took a video after taking my 'insurance' shot..

These kind of animals will exist as long as us, the humans keeps on taking care of our environment. I am hoping that the mentality of the visitors of rekreasi Tupah will always remember how important it is to take care and take care of the cleanliness of these places, so it will remain pristine and our future generation will also able to enjoy the nature, and the beauty it offers..

I love robberflies, and this particular one is like a drug for me. Since the first time I'm able to shoot it, I haven't got much of it, and shooting a video didn't even come into my mind.

This robberfly, I only see a couple of times a year. So hard to shoot it since it loves to stay up high, and always went AWOL after the first encounter..

Today I got my chance, and it makes me furiously happy :)

I guess this is the simplest yet fun thing to do when you're planning to shoot at night. Simple setting, f22, ISO ranging from 100-400-800, depends on you, 30sec or bulb exposures, on a tripod, on timer, then the WB adjusted to what you like, I prefer redness, so I choose cloudy, and if you like white lights, adjust it to Tungsten ..
Try it.. it's freakin' fun :)

Last Sunday morning, I got a call from Malaysian Macro Team's Rizalis, asking me on my plans for the day. As I was still sleeping (and plans to continue), I told him I don't have any. He told me about his coming to Penang for macro and its about time since I'm out of macro pics too. Haha

He arrived at my house around 1130 and we went off for an afternoon macro session. Here are some of the pics from the outing..

IR Fever?

I'm quite amazed by IR shots by pro photographers friends on Flickr. Amazing. Simply another side of the world we never seen before. So I tried to channel my time to learn some IR photography.

Been trying quite a while, a short chat on Facebook's comment with Doc Ali kinda solve a lot of things, or at least guide me to right path. Thanks doc. Check out Doc. Ali's site. http://www.2121studio.com / http://www.flickr.com/2121studio/

Seems everyone with the 50mm f1.8 bokeh lens tried this trick before. Been thinking of doing it for a while, and the black sugar paper was on the table for a very long time.. Last night was a bit boring for me, so I decided to try. Instead of the heart shape, I chosen the star.

Luckily the festive running lights was still working, so I would get a good bokeh for the shot. Trying few times and I got the shot I wanted..

Then suddenly an idea came to me to shoot it in video. Hey.. I got D90, surely I can shoot this in video :P So I shot a few and wallahhh!! It's a bokehs lightshow :P

Penang State Marching Band Competition 2009

I was on my way back home from a meeting @ PPD Utara, when I saw the bands marching on the field. Ahhh!! I'm too late. Rushed back home, with the plan of taking Amzar with me to watch the marching bands.. but Amzar, as usual, prefer his PSP and TV rather than going.

When I was there, the show was nearly over. I quickly moved closer to shoot some expressions of the participating teams.

Autocity Frenzy

Last weekend was the Autocity Carnival. Been knowing bout the buzz of photographers and Autocity before but I haven't try going before. So I decided to try out on the event, plus meeting friends from Penang Flickr.

We had a small TT @ Old Town where I met Lipanz, Ronie & Jeevi. Then we met a few more including Mac. Well the buzz was true. Autocity was like a photographer's magnet. Everywhere, there's photographers. I bet there must be more than 200 photographers around.

WHY? Just look at these... Cool Cars, Hot Babes, u do the maths...

and here's my fav shot. Still couldn't decide which one I like, B&W or Color, but surely the model is so cute :)

Another outdoor session for me. Just thought of where's the best place to test my Sigma APO 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM lens, so I went to Byram with my photography buddy Ronienana. He is equipped with a new toy too.. D300 with Tamron 70-200 f2.8.

I spent more than a day to complete the editing of this reception.. from the morning till night, the reception continues. Started from the arrival of the bride n groom till the cake cutting ceremony at night, shooting for wedding ceremony is much tougher than I think... I guess I'll be sticking to outdoors :)

Too many things to shoot at one place. I think any given day, if I'm free, CH would be a place to be.. I could shoot anything, anywhere. Flowers, landscape, panos, people, pretty much anything you could think of. This includes macro shoot. So during my last trip with SMBC to CH, I managed to shoot some macro @ Sg. Outing pics during my trip to Broga Hill.

Basically this place is well known among locals in Semenyih & outsiders from the neighbouring places. I was quite shocked to discover how many people were up the hill when I reached the 1st peak. Broga promises a beautiful scenery, fantastic panoramic view & a heaven for photographers. Name it, sunrise shots, landscape and pano shots makes this place a perfect place for an outing.

Patutnya post pasal CH ride, n macro CH tp rasanya nak kongsi pic phototrip ni dulu...
Mujur ada meeting MSN kat KL, jadi peluang yang ada aku xmau sia2kan. Last time gi KL utk meeting last year, aku masih guna Lumix. Shoot mcm2 gak tapi xla memuaskan ati.. So kali ni nekad utk shoot wishlist aku... Rizal la jadi mangsa.. dia jadi dreba ke sana dan kesini sambil sama2 shoot...

Bukit Broga Outing & Mishap :(

Salam. Sepatutnya entri ni menceritakan kisah2 sonok aku outing kat KL, namun sebelum cerita yang tu semua, just aku nk tulis tentang kisah outing yang penuh dengan keseronokan, adventure & semangat setiakawan dikalangan rakan-rakan photographer.

Aku dijemput menyertai outing ke Bukit Broga, Semenyih oleh salah sorang contact flickr dan memandangkan tiket bas balik ke SP kul 5 petang, awal2 dah pakat dengan Rizal utk join.

Mananya xmau join, asik2 tgk gambar yang menarik dari kawan2 yang outing kat sana.. So malam sebelumnya kami outing gak.. shoot skyline KL.. abis dari outing tu kami ke downtown cheras cari torchlight. So sampai rumah lebih kurang 2pagi.. Terus rest, dan tepat jam 4.30 pagi kami bangun mencanak2 siap utk outing.

Guna gps & google map, sampai kami ke tempat RV di semenyih & bertemu kawan2 yang dah siap menunggu. Antaranya otai2 seperti EmranMT, AzliPhotography, Shazral & Arabischenab juga Faiz, adiknya & tak lupa satu2nya awek, Cik Ashikin.

Masa masuk ke kawasan tu aku mcm rasa pelik la plak sbb area kelapa sawit tu penuh kereta pagi2 buta. Kami hike sampai pancit2... best plak lama x hike. Beg aku yang penuh dengan gear tu buat hiking skill aku tercabar la.. mmg pancit tahap gaban.. hehe

Sampai je kaki bukit.. tersengap jap aku.. indahnya panorama... naik sampai atas.. wuiyoo.. giler lawa.. sapa x penah pergi mmg akan terdiam seketika melihat keindahan bukit Broga ni.

Lepas naik dua puncak, rest ala kadar.. masing2 dah mula shoot sana sini.. aku pun sama la.. pano.. pano beb.. aku shoot byk pano ajer.. xpandai nak shoot menda lain.. namun sempat gak shoot macro sbb jumpa "Ant Mimic Spider" sepasang...

Namun keseronokan tu tak lama.. Lepas aja shoot adegan lompat2 atas batu.. rizal plak ditimpa musibah.. Kaki dia dh sakit & lepas aku check.. aku dh suspect muscle tear.. Sbb dia langsung x leh berdiri...

Sbb xnk ganggu keseronokan kawan2 yang lain aku decide ajak rizal turun pelan2... tapi hebat kawan2 ni semua.. turun sama2 gak..

Mula2 rizal try gak nak berjalan namun lepas tu kawasan yang curam.. dia mula la turun sambil duduk (mengesot2 turun..)

Gilanya turun tu sampai area yang landai.. Emran & Azli pakat2 tolong angkat rizal.. hebat betoi..

Lepas tu aku call 999. Kesilapan bagi maklumat jalan buatkan diorg lewat tiba.
Penat betol turun tu.. smp dekat 2 jam lebih turun sambil mengesot.. Rizal dah xleh jalan lagi. Aku decide turun ngan faiz utk tunggu JPA3 kat bawah..

Tunggu punya tunggu dpt panggilan JPA KL, diorg baru nak kuar. Mmg lewat lagi tu. So aku mintak faiz belikan ais. Naik balik bawak ais kat rizal. Aku mmg pancit tahap dewa sampai nak bernapas pun dah xleh.. Giler..

So kami pun tunggu je kehadiran JPA..
Selebihnya biar gambar2 ni ceritakan..

Rizal dihantar ke Hospital Kajang.. aku plak mujur ada housemate rizal tolong hantar ke hentian Duta.. cukup2 time sampai situ. naik bas n balik ke SP.

Rizal pulak naik flight balik Penang. Terus admitted kat Hospital Pakar Puteri Sg. Petani. Dpt mc gomen 18hari. Skrg ni warded kat SP.

Aku pun dh penat taip. Nak gi melawat dia jap. Letih masih terasa.

Apa2 pun terima kasih buat semua sahabat yang banyak membantu. Tanpa bantuan korang aku mst menggelabah sorg2.

Insyaallah kita akan outing lagi & kalau turun Penang, bagitau jer.. aku bwk korang outing sini plak...

Outing & BBQ!!

Yesterday isn't any typical Saturday. It's school day as usual. After school I went to Cik Pah's house attending her lil new born's Aqiqah feast. Right after that I shoot off to Penang for a Photowalk with my friends from Penang Flickr.

After the photowalk we went to Padang Kota, had a little classroom from Ronienana, teaching me CLS. Met Iz & Farah AF (oops. Safina) and went for some Lai Chi Kang @ the astaka.

About 630 I shoot off to Capt. Shukri's (M4SC Bradpitt) house, for M4SC BBQ. Had lots of food there. I even had lobster, thanks to Alip!
Here's the group shot..!

It was a fun & tiring day but then I'm totally satisfied. Met frens from near & far, it's been one of the best Saturday for me.

It's a blessing for me to found this wild flower around my mom's house. After the rain stops today, I could see the bees are on most of the flowers at the bushes. This includes small & big wasps too..
So from trying to find some waterdrops, I started to shoot these small bugs..!

Arini asyik ujan saja.. tp sonok sbb dapat amik gambar waterdrops..! Skali tgk pokok ni.. dh lama nak amik gmbr dia tapi bunga yang tumbuh slalunya terlalu tinggi.. kali ni dah ada ada waterdrops yg cun.. then ada bunga yang agak rendah utk shoot.. cun2..

Khasiat jarum tujuh bilah

JARUM tujuh bilah dikategorikan sebagai tanaman herba yang turut diminati orang ramai untuk ditanam di dalam pasu dan halaman rumah. Tumbuhan dari keluarga kaktus ini mungkin satu-satunya kaktus yang mempunyai daun yang sebenar. Ia adalah genus paling primitif dalam keluarga kaktus.

Jom Macro III : Concluded

Aha, seems everyone blogs nowadays. I rarely writes anything at all now, except reading others. But then feels like missing my old website "SirMart.net" where I used to write everything about me, my whereabouts, my projects etc. So I guess from now on I'll make use of this blog with and blogs about my photoshoots session.

So we finished Jom Macro III with a bit of a twist. With only me with the 'complete' gear, I'm quite worried on how to convince my friends to join me. Luckily they're up to the challenge and tried macro.

We had a great time shooting and I met Azura Zainal with "Eksplorasi" crew shooting at the National Park.

Semalam.. konon2 nak buat surprise kat Amzar.. nak bawak tgk citer Geng.. ni sumer gara2 tgk dia punya "the making"... kreatif tol puak2 yg buat nih.. tahniah diucapkan... walaupun belum lg tgk.. tp rasa nak bawak jer Amzar pi...

So lepas keje semalam... x sabar tunggu awang tu balik.. dia balik2 jer terus ckp suh siap... then baru tringat.. aiseh.. lupa booking tiket la plak... so online kat GSC.. skali tgk tiket fully booked.. alamak...cemana ni.. try plak phone booking... sangkut gak...

Aduss.. frust.. Amzar dah siap.. skali tiket xde.. then terpikir.. hari Khamis.. xkan la full house..? Lepas je maghrib tu aku cabut ngan moto gi Sunway Carnival.. mujur la dekat ja.. kelam kabut gi tiket counter.. nasibbbbbbbbbb... ada tiket tapi 3rd row from the front.. ahh.. kira jadik ahhh...

So.. bila tgk citer ni.. lepas kuar.. aku ckp.. "Salut pada production team".. walaupun 3D animation dia x setaraf PIXAR.. jalan citer yg fun buatkan org x kisah sgt ttg tu...

"Basah Lencun" Solo Ride to Perlis

Salam

Memandangkan ride yang dirancang tiada sambutan, maka aku terpikir2 la nak ride gak walaupun sorang. Kiranya solo ride lagi.. hehe.. Malam 24hb, aku bukak porum, tgk Naza ada sebut pasai nak ride pi KL. Wah2.. pi KL.. besh ni.. skali lepas posting kat porum aku lena..

Jaga2 awai pagi, aku tgk Naza dah reply posting. Skali terus call dia, kompom nak kuaq kui 930. Then turun bawah, siap2 beg apa semua. Then terpikiaq balik, kalau p KL, mau makan 2-3 hari.. duit pun makin susut.. lepas “perbincangan”, aku msg Naza, sori bro, x dapat join p KL. Aku ride dekat2 saja..

Tgk jam, 830, aku pun siap2kan barang, masuk lam tong moto, then panaskan enjin moto, aku pun salam ngan mak, then gerak menuju Perlis. Cuaca mendung saja.. dalam ati dok doa.. jgn laa ujan.. nak amik gmbq xleh nih.. Aku ride slowly melalui Kepala Batas, Tikam Batu dan sampai saja simpang Giant Sg. Petani, aku belok kiri, ikut lencongan Barat menuju arah Merbok.

Sampai Merbok, aku nampak satu dua spot yg baik utk shoot lepas ni.. x singgah pun, sampai simpang Singkir (org sebut singkiaq), aku stop utk keluarkan kamera. Konon2 nak shoot laa kan.. then aku ride sepanjang jalan ke Yan Besar, x singgah pun. Then kat Yan Besar, aku belok ke Pantai Murni.. amik gmbq sekeping dua, shoot burung skit.. then aku teruskan perjalanan.

Dalam ati, nak je p Jambatan Pulau Bunting yang dah dok nampak dari Pantai Murni tu, tapi cemana ujan turun.. aku dok pkiaq nak berenti la apa la.. last2 miss simpang tu. Aku x patah balik dah.. terus jalan saja. Ujan makin lebat. Aku topup minyak RM10, then terus ikut jalan ke arah Kuala Kedah.

Jalan ni jalan yang aku x besa lalu pun, cantik sgt scenery dia, siap ada 1 area tu ada sawah terbentang luas, skali ada pokok kelapa sebatang ja kat tgh2.. tapi ujan kemain lebat, aku x jadi la singgah shoot... xpa2.. nnt aku ulang balik ke tempat tu... Aku sempat singgah sini saja.. shoot gmbq yg ada background Gunung Jerai.. gambaq yang kat atas skali tu la...

Sampai Kuala Kedah, aku teruskan perjalanan ke Perlis. Lebih kurang pkl 1140, sampai ke Kangar. Terus aku pi umah akak aku kat Padang Katong, makan tengahari & sejukkan tangan aku yang dah nak beku sbb basah lencun.. Mujoq pakai scoot ni.. x la basah teruk sgt.. sluaq x basah xpa.. baju saja yang basah.. kira ok la tu..

Lepas makan, aku mintak diri & teruskan perjalanan ke Sg. Batu Pahat. Lama x pi Batu Pahat.. aku tgk Sg. Batu Pahat mcm dulu gak.. taman burung dah tutup.. tapi Snake farm masih kekal. Nanti 1 hari aku nak mai shoot ulaq plak.. tapi misi aku arini.. GRAPES!! Anggur!!

Aku xtau la kat mana ladang tu.. so singgah tanya akak juai goreng pisang depan Snake Farm tu.. rupanya ladang tu x jauh sgt.. menghala ke Bukit Ayaq saja.. (Bukit Air).

Sampai ladang tu.. pakcik guard ckp.. pi la rehat2 dulu.. la ni masa rehat, masa melawat dari 9 pagi sampai 1 tghari.. then pukui 2 sampai 4 petang.. Lahai.. aku awai stgh jam rupanya.. Xpa la.. aku pun straight lagi menuju Bukit Ayaq..

Terkejut gak.. bertahun2 x penah sampai sana, rupanya dah ada Taman Herba, ada resort Bukit Air dan rekreasi Bukit Air tu pun dah di naik taraf.. sayangnya air terjun tiruan x menarik hati aku utk shoot.. Mmg aku x berkenan langsung la, lagipun ramai plak org..

Tepat pukul 2, aku pun pi tgk ladang tu balik.. Ni gambar2 anggur di Ladang Perdana tu..

Lepas puas shoot, aku decide utk shoot pano. Lama dah aku x shoot pano, so kat Perlis ni ladang tebu ialah satu tempat yang besh utk shoot Pano. Aku menuju Beseri.. tgk balai baru dah berubah rupa.. tgk jalan nak masuk sekolah aku... then tgk balik Taman Melati.. semuanya dah nampak lain..

Sampai2 saja ladang tebu, aku mula tembak.. ni gambar2 sekitar kat ladang tebu tu...

Dari situ, aku pun start moto dan balik melalui jalan Arau – Jitra. Mengimbau balik zaman aku dok ITM dulu.. hari2 lalu jalan tu.. baguih la skrg ni depa dok repair dah jalan tu..

Sampai Jitra, topup minyak lagi rm10, call bro Rizal (Malaysian Macro Team).. singgah jap umah dia.. dalam 10 minit aku bergerak balik ke Penang melalui Langgaq, Aloq Staq, Kangkung, Gurun, SP, & selamat sampai ke Butterworth pukul 840 malam.

Puas ati dapat test moto, dapat tgk tempat org, dapat shoot, enjoying trip.. Kalau ride ramai2 lagi best rasanya.. till the next ride.. ECR 2009...

Nasik Lemak Solo Ride

Actually plan asal nak ride masa Krismas. Tetiba rasa macam nak makan nasik lemak Baling. Terus siap2, selongkar stor cari kneepad, mandi & siap2. Bagi panaih enjin lebih kurang, ckp kat mem, toksah mesej2 la.. sat saja p Baling.. beli nasik lemak.. then balik la.. terus aku jalan dari rumah menuju ke Baling thru Kuala Ketil. 1st time nak jalan jauh sikit bagi running GTS aku yang masih suci murni nih.. hehe

Ride punya ride, sronok plak tgk kampung org, rindu gila nak ride.. dah setahun pencen ride.. skali sedaq2 nampak batu tulis BALING. Aiseh.. telepaih la plak.. slow2 aku bagi signal.. pusin balik.. kena tgkp gambaq nih... Then setup tripod Manfrotto aku yang cukup muat masuk bawah seat.. lega sbb xpayah nak susah2 bawak mcm selalu ngan Ego tu... aku pun shoot seround dua... orang yang lalu lalang ushar semacam ja.. ni mana punya mamat x besa sampai Baling. hehe Lantak la..!

Then aku pun masuk pekan Baling.. pusin2 skit then berenti depan masjid baling.. ada dua gerai juai nasik lemak daun pisang & pulut sambal. Murah beb.. baru rm4.20, dpt 4 bungkus nasik lemak + 3 bungkus pulut sambal. Sekali lagi.. masuk bawah seat. Yippie.. hehe.. no wonder la Tokskoot rilek ja ride.. bawah seat luaih ooo.. hehe... Dah nak start enjin, tlupa, gmbq lum amik... amik kamera.... tembak gmbq brader2 jual nasik tmasuk la nasik2 yang atas meja tu...

Then patah balik, ingt terus nak balik masuk Hiway, balik bworth. Tetiba nampak signboard ke kiri, "Pengkalan Hulu".. hehe.. aiseh.. gemuruh dok ada lagi teringat insiden ECR2007 dulu, hati berbelah bagi tapi memandangkan nanti ECR2009 nak lalu gak sini, aku rasa gatai nak ilangkan phobia n lalu ke laluan peberet tokR...
So aku pun belok ke arah roundabout baling tu.. ke Pengkalan Hulu menerusi Gunung Inas.. Masa tengah dok naik tu nampak kemain lawa la plak awan.. siap ada ray of light celah2 awan.. kena berenti nih... teruih aku singgah kat RnR Gunung Inas, shoot lebih kurang.. then jalan. X berani berenti lama2..

Turun dari jalan tu.. sampailah aku ke Pengkalan Hulu.. ehhh.. ada signboard laaa... kena amik gmbq.. berenti lagi.. haha...

Sampai town TokMie, isi minyak kat Petronas wlpn rasanya minyak cukup lagi.. (ingt pesan Tok Mohoni hehe).. Then baca doa sekali lagi, dan bermula la aku lalu jalan yang menjadi igauan ngeri setahun dua ni.. layan kona lebih kurang saja, bawak x laju pun, cruising antara 60-80kmj tp kdg2 tu terbabas gak ke 100kmj.. turun bukit laa.. GTS ni rasanya mmg sedap berbanding Elegan sbb dia lebih berat, handling lebih mantap. Naik bukit pun x rasa tercungap2 sangat, kira ok la untuk aku. Aku layan kona pi balik pi balik.. skali sampai la Kg. Pahit... gulppp... nama ni mcm penah dengaq... betui la tu.. tmpat kawan kita mishap dulu... lalu kona tu, aku teringat balik ECR 2007, mmg malang x berbau kan.. Xpa la... finally sampai la aku ke simpang Gerik - Banding tu... Malas dh nak p Gerik, aku belok kanan... layan la jalan ni.. keta x banyak.. sonok toi.. then jumpak signboard ni lagi.. hehe..

Then jumpak balik kona peberet yang aku penah amik gmbaq ngan tok Mohoni, yang ada view yang superb. Kat sini jumpa 2 photographers tgh tunggu sunset. Heheh xleh nak tunggu la.. aku shoot gmbq gepreng aku lebey kurang.. then exchange bisnes kad.. cabut...

Finally on the way back, aku dpt satu satisfaction yang xtau nak describe, the final shot yang aku amik ni explains everything. Saiz gmbq ni mmg kecik sikit.. view full size kat flickr aku utk tgk keindahan ciptaanNya.. Dpt view sunset yang superb!! The best I've ever seen. Tgh bwk moto... jalan yang lurus, di hujung jalan.. matahari yang bulat memancar kaler oren dia.. adussssss...

Yang ni.. mastercard pun xleh beli.. hehe

Journey 250KM+-, dari rumah di SP ke rumah di B'worth, sampai rumah enjoy pulut sambal & nasik lemak... Satisfying!

JomHeboh Concert @ Batu Kawan Stadium

It's been a while since I've been to any concert. Now, it's gonna be my 1st concert shoot since I got the hold of my D60. I spend the whole afternoon @ Queensbay Mall to shoot the Miss Pesta. Tired of the shoot, I have doubts on going to JomHeboh.

The memories of my 1st JomHeboh visit still haunts me. Being in traffic jam for 3 long hours was a disaster. Hoping to learn to shoot during a live concert, I give it a try. We (Fardy my nephew, New2Mac & me) shoot of from Masjid Seberang Jaya around 530. A salute to the PLUS & Police officers who are working and making sure the traffic runs smoothly. It was a good & non stop way straight to the JomHeboh site. Normal, the parking was a bit of a problem. It's packed with thousands of people.

Luckily we got a spot, and parked. With the help of my niece, I got the pass for the MyTV3 & Hotlink special area, right in front of the stage.

The only thing about this concert I hate was the SECURITY!! They should have opened the gate and let people who came very early to get inside the box. The audience with the handband had to pile up and squeezed in when they opened the gate so late. And then when the crowd starts to rush in.. the SECURITY got angry. Stupid!

And after we got the spot, I prepared my camera and again, the same STUPID SECURITY guy came over the fence and said.. "No Professional Photographers allowed!! Kalau ambil gambar nanti saya rampas kamera. Kaki kamera tu simpan" SO FREAKIN STUPID LAME ASS!! Am I a professional photographer? Using a DSLR does not mean I'm pro you BAFOON!!! And the 'kaki' thingy is call a TRIPOD!!

If any of TV3 Crew reads this, just let the normal person who shoots something for the enjoyment of having good pics and sharing with friends on the net to enjoy ourselves. Come on TV3, by right, we promotes you guys.

Anyhow, I don't give a damn bout that LAME ASS SECURITY GUY, and I just took my shots. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the concert, although Dato' Siti wasn't able to be there, the performance of other artists was great. I enjoyed myself shooting and learning on shooting without using a flash.

My setting (Nikon D60 + Nikkor 55-200 (non VR)) with no flash. ISO setting range from 800-1600 only.
